Interviews with local media and headline makers about the history of publishing in Cambridge and the current state of independent media everywhere
Throughout the month of June and into early July, thousands of readers and community members from Cambridge and beyond visited our installation at the former Out of Town News kiosk in Harvard Square. Officially renamed the Cambridge KiOSK after a heroic decade-long restoration, the project is a partnership between the nonprofit CultureHouse and the Cambridge Office for Tourism, and we were honored to be the first collaborator to make use of the amazing venue.
But if you didn’t make it to our exhibit, don’t worry, we recorded the events!
As part of our presence in the KiOSK, BINJ organized programming that paid homage to the former newsstand, celebrated Cambridge publishing and culture, and addressed the past, present, and future of journalism.
