BINJ WRITER TALKS CHARLES TAYLOR ON “THE BIG TRUTH” PODCAST

Listen to writer Nate Homan tell the story of an infamous West African warlord’s Bay State jailbreak

A full year after we published one of our biggest undertakings in the first decade of BINJ, it continues to find thousands of new readers every month. Writer Nate Homan’s epic book-length feature on Liberian war criminal Charles Taylor’s time in Boston has now entered the podcast phase, with him appearing on the latest episode of The Big Truth Podcast.

The namesake host, Big Truth, is an anthropologist and the custom motorcycle builder behind Choppahead Kustom Cycles in Freetown, Mass. He’s also an ex-radio DJ who, like our reporter Nate, came up in the punk rock and hardcore scene. Needless to say, especially considering the topic, their conversation got intense. You can listen below or on The Big Truth site.
